TSA wait times at ORD have been relatively short in recent reports. A traveler passed through security in just 15 minutes (Fri Mar 21). As of Monday afternoon (Mon Mar 23, 2:48 PM), TSA lines remained quick, with no reported delays. While the airport itself was busy, security screening was not a bottleneck.
Plan to arrive 1.5 to 2 hours before departure for domestic flights. Based on current data, you should have ample time to clear security and reach your gate comfortably, even during busy periods at the airport.
