Security at LaGuardia is experiencing significantly longer waits than normal. The average across all terminals is currently 67 minutes compared to a typical 8 minutes (Tue Mar 24, 12:03 PM). Terminal B has been particularly affected, with standard security lines wrapping across the entire terminal (Tue Mar 24, 11:58 AM). Early morning has been especially congested, with one traveler reporting a 1 hour 37 minute wait starting at 6:37 AM (Tue Mar 24, 11:44 AM), and another describing a 2-3 hour line for a 6 AM departure (Sun Mar 22, 4:37 AM).
PreCheck is your best option if you have it.
